BeroNet – Modular and Expandable

The beroNet PCI/PCIe gateway cards are fully functional VoIP media gateways in PCI and PCI Express form factors. They are modular and can be equipped with up to two modules. For the beroNet gateways, you have access to digital ISDN (BRI/PRI), analog (FXS/FXO), and GSM modules. All modules can be combined in any configuration on the beroNet gateway cards. This allows you to always configure the right solution for your needs with the beroNet gateways and PCI/PCIe cards. An optional PCM bus connection between two beroNet gateways or cards additionally guarantees true hardware bridging for transparent audio transmission of sensitive voice, video, data, and fax services. The beroNet PCI and PCIe gateway cards are compatible and have been tested with a variety of SIP servers and soft PBXs, such as 3CX, Asterisk, Freeswitch, MS Lync, Elastix, Trixbox, and Askozia, to name just a few.

All beroNet gateways are operating system independent and can be used on both Linux/Unix systems and Microsoft Windows or MAC OS systems. This is due to the special design of the beroNet gateway cards and the underlying beroNet OS on the cards. They present themselves as simple Realtek network cards to the respective operating system. All necessary drivers required for the operation of the beroNet gateway cards are typically provided and loaded automatically by the operating system.
