The auxiliary lens enables the measurement of very small objects in the near field. The measurement spot then has a diameter of only 0.6 mm (1.5:1) at a distance of 10 mm for the DM201 D, and only 2.5 mm (5:1) at a distance of 23 mm for the DM21 D.
