Barix Annuncicom PS1 INTL package

The Barix Annuncicom PS1 is a universal IP audio device that is both compact and elegant. It offers broadcasters, commercial enterprises, office buildings, educational institutions, medical facilities, and others a simple, fully integrated hardware solution for paging and intercom over IP. The Annuncicom PS1 features two backlit push-to-talk buttons, a volume control, and a built-in speaker and microphone so that security personnel, receptionists, and other employees can easily make announcements to the entire facility. Two mini-jack connections allow the use of a headset or gooseneck microphone and headphones. The device connects to a standard IP network, allowing system integrators and end users to take advantage of existing infrastructure, reducing costs and equipment. Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability further simplifies installation as only a single cable is required to the device. The compact design of the Annuncicom PS1 is suitable for wall mounting and desktop installation. With the optional belt clip and headset, the Annuncicom PS1 is the ideal choice for an IP-based partyline intercom system. The Annuncicom PS1 can also be integrated into background music systems, ideal for retailers, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and other entertainment venues that want to overlay a stream with announcements. Bi-directional capability enables facility-wide two-way communication, making the PS1 more than a simple paging device for ski resorts, university campuses, and other large areas requiring talkback. The supported codecs (PCM/G.711/G.722/MP3) and a range of sampling rates (8-48kHz) allow the audio quality to be optimized for the application. Up to CD/HiFi (mono only) quality can be achieved.
