The extruder unit made of hardened steel is equipped with hardened steel spur gears that provide increased extrusion force, prevent slippage, and improve wear resistance. These gears enable the extruder unit to process robust technical filaments such as carbon fiber nylon and glass fiber nylon.

Additionally, the extruder unit includes a sensor that supports the detection of filament breaks, which can help avoid printing errors and improve overall printing efficiency.
