Thanks to its powerful processor, the AXIS Q1941-E offers high capabilities for video analytics with the AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) and can utilize many different applications from other manufacturers. The camera also features a memory card slot for local storage of video recordings.

Reliable thermal detection with a low false alarm rate: Difficult lighting conditions and shadows have less impact on thermal cameras, allowing them to achieve higher accuracy and fewer false alarms than conventional cameras in most intelligent applications. With excellent thermal image contrast, the AXIS Q1941-E can reliably capture and quickly verify situations, such as property surveillance. With five alternative lenses (7 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm, 35 mm, and 60 mm), the camera provides optimal detection performance for nearly all application requirements.

Smooth video and low storage requirements: A thermal camera is primarily used for video analysis and monitoring in restricted areas that should not be entered or traversed. Accordingly, the video shows no movement until an intruder is detected. The AXIS Q1941-E supports Axis Zipstream technology, which filters out areas without movement to focus on the moving image parts. This significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. Additionally, electronic image stabilization (EIS) ensures a stable live image when the camera is not mounted on a stable surface, which could lead to vibration issues.
