Axing Sheath current filter

Devices are often used whose signal grounds are connected to the protective conductor, such as antenna or cable systems and computers, making ground loops unavoidable. The interference signal can manifest, for example, as an unwanted, disturbing hum in audio systems or as interference stripes on a television. Shielded current filters are often helpful in this case. The shielded current filter galvanically interrupts the line. This allows only the high-frequency signal component to be transmitted while suppressing the low-frequency interference signal.
