Audio-Technica At2031

The AT2031 is the ideal microphone for string instruments in critical studio and live situations. The permanently charged condenser provides a detailed sound image thanks to a wide frequency response and a slight boost in the high frequency range. A large dynamic range is achieved through low self-noise while maintaining high sound pressure tolerance. The cardioid polar pattern allows for better isolation of the sound source, and a switchable high-pass filter at 150 Hz with a slope of 6 dB/octave is available for tailoring the frequency response to the instrument being recorded.
