RS-232 to RS-485 Interface Converter - The IC485S is a 2-way converter for converting RS-232 signals to and from RS-422/RS-485 signals in long-distance applications up to 1200 m. It supports the connection of up to 32 hubs and provides monitoring to confirm data transmission between devices. The converter allows for the connection between the serial technologies RS232 and RS485. Data transmission is controlled via the RTS signal. DCE/DTE switchable. Connection options include Point-to-Point, Multidrop, and Simple/Duplex. Full duplex with four wires and half duplex with two wires. Compact size. Transmission distances up to 1200 m. Supports baud rates up to 115.2 Kbps.
