As by far the cheapest monitor tested, the Asus VC279H has to make clear concessions in the area of ergonomics. However, if the Full HD resolution is enough for you, you will get an IPS monitor with very good display properties.
The new VC279H from ASUS is in the low-price consumer segment. Starting at about 230 euros, you get a TFT monitor with a 27-inch screen diagonal, IPS panel and Full HD resolution. For cost reasons, ergonomic functions have been omitted; the display can only be tilted. On the plus side, there is no doubt that the price is low and the IPS panel is very good...
