Powerful components require powerful cooling. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D uses Thermal Grizzly's Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal for the GPU. This ultra-high-performance thermal interface material can keep the chip up to 15 °C cooler than conventional thermal pastes. Combined with a massive custom vapor chamber that covers 43.3% of the motherboard and four dedicated exhaust vents, this thermal solution efficiently dissipates heat from the system.

ROG's Intelligent Cooling technology allows critical components like the CPU and GPU to maintain higher boost frequencies for longer periods, ensuring that frame rates remain smooth and stable even during extended gaming sessions. The Strix SCAR 17 X3D also keeps noise levels in check: in performance mode, the device does not exceed 40 dB.
