Astro hat mit der vierten Generation des A50 erneut ein grundsolides Headset abgeliefert. Der Klang ist zwar von einem etwas aggressiven Bass durchtränkt, gibt aber auch Feinheiten gekonnt wieder und überzeugt durch Raumklang. Einzig bei der Verarbeitung und der noch ausbaufähigen Geräuschisolation würden wir uns bei der nächsten Generation noch Verbesserungen wünschen.

Das klanglich solide Astro A50 macht dank präzisem SurroundSound eine gute Ortung möglich. Die vielen Modi waren aber nicht immer ein Segen, sondern teils ein Fluch. Denn nicht jedes Preset klingt auch gut. In den Disziplinen Akkulaufzeit und Mikrofon ist das Headset nur Mittelmaß.
