You are bird lovers – researchers, birdwatchers, ornithologists, and collectors – trying to attract a variety of different species to your wildlife preserves. Each bird species forms strong combination chains in one of the habitats. Each of the three habitats represents a crucial aspect of the growth of your areas. In Wingspan, up to 5 players compete to build their wildlife preserves within a set number of rounds. Each of the beautiful birds you add to an area enhances your skills in egg-laying, card-drawing, and food gathering. Many of the 170 unique birds have abilities that reflect their real-life counterparts: hawks hunt, pelicans catch fish, and geese form flocks.
