Astell&Kern AK HC4

Astell&Kern presents the AK HC4, a USB DAC cable that revolutionises the world of hi-fi sound. This product is part of a renowned product line that has made a name for itself with its compact design and superior sound quality. The design of the AK HC4 is based on its award-winning predecessor and utilises advanced technologies to ensure even more faithful sound reproduction in various application scenarios. The AK HC4 features a 3.5 mm and a 4.4 mm headphone jack, allowing the use of a variety of in-ear earphones and over-ear headphones without the need for additional adapters. For the first time, the AKM AK4493S DAC, known for its outstanding performance in Astell&Kern's digital music players, is implemented in a USB DAC cable. The AK4493S DAC features improved noise cancellation, lower power consumption and ultra-precise amplifier technology, resulting in exceptionally high-quality hi-fi sound. The AK HC4 sets the standard with Digital Audio Remaster (DAR) technology, previously exclusive to Astell&Kern's music players. DAR upsamples the sampling rate of the audio source being played back beyond the limits of the source format, enabling even more detailed reproduction and delivering authentic original sound of the highest quality. The exclusive amplifier circuitry of the AK HC4 ensures stable output power and first-class hi-fi sound. Micro resistors and capacitors of the smallest design ensure a compact size without any loss of performance. To ensure that the AK HC4 can be used with both Android and iOS devices, two high-quality double-shielded cables are supplied, one with a USB-C and one with a Lightning connector.
