The extremely fast multifunctional Aruba Access Points of the 220 series provide Gigabit IEEE 802.11a Wi-Fi performance in highly demanding environments. The integrated Aruba ClientMatch technology ensures consistently high performance across the entire WLAN infrastructure and can be managed via a Mobility Controller or implemented in Aruba Instant mode without a controller. The 220 series Access Points offer a maximum data transfer rate of 1.3 Gb/s in the 5 GHz band and 600 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band, making them three times faster than 802.11n APs and providing performance comparable to wired connections.
