Marx's oft-quoted saying that one must play the circumstances their own melody to make them dance finds its fulfillment in Clemens Schittko's poems. In the ordering of things, their order becomes fragile; in the emptying of phrases and concepts, their hidden meaning emerges. However, Schittko's montage method not only critically exposes the phraseology of the world but also unleashes its grotesque humor.
