Aqua Computer aquastream XT Upgrade Kit to aquastream Ultimate

This upgrade kit for your aquastream XT pump (Standard, Advanced, or Ultra version) includes all the necessary parts to upgrade your existing aquastream XT pump to the functionality of the current aquastream Ultimate.

Installing the new controller with the matching cover is relatively straightforward. First, remove the cover of the old controller from the aquastream pump and disconnect the temperature sensor. Next, detach the power cables from the old circuit board and remove the controller from the pump. Strip the exposed wires of the pump at the cable end and connect them to the back of the new circuit board (polarity is irrelevant). Now, reconnect the temperature sensor and attach the circuit board along with the cover to the pump. You have now transformed your aquastream XT pump into an aquastream Ultimate pump.

The functionality of the Ultra version includes automatic and manual speed adjustment, Aquabus interface, venting mode, rotation detection, a configurable tachometer signal output, a manually configurable fan output, an external temperature sensor input, an internal water temperature sensor, a temperature-controlled fan output, a connection option for a flow sensor, active adjustment of pump speed, a graphic OLED display with 128x64 pixels, a user interface with a menu, a 1 A fan output with high efficiency, and automatic power consumption optimization.

Note: For very old aquastream pumps (e.g., aquastream 3.5), the pump impeller must also be replaced.
