For this reason, the grip areas are ergonomically shaped and equipped with a non-slip rubber coating. Additionally, this grip features a stable attachment point for wrist straps on the underside. The camera's battery compartment cover fits into the battery grip, keeping it securely protected from being torn off. The tripod thread is located on the bottom. All functions necessary for portrait photos are accessible on the grip, designed for comfortable reach and set to a pleasant resistance. The battery grip accommodates 2 EN-EL15 type batteries or 6 standard AA batteries (magazine included).
