With the wireless charging case, charging is easy by simply placing the AirPods in the case and setting it on a compatible charging pad. You can see from the LED light on the front of the case that the AirPods are charging. When you don't have a charging pad available, you can charge it using the Lightning port. The wireless charging case works with AirPods generations 1 & 2, and it allows for multiple charges.
