The devices support up to 14.4 kW of power per branch whip. Multiple devices can be powered through a branch whip; this is a particularly convenient way to supply power to rack-mounted equipment. Using a branch whip with standard connectors reduces the time and cost involved in installation. Models are available for horizontal, vertical, and tool-less mounting. It provides power connections where they are most urgently needed in the racks, in close proximity to the devices. Multiple outputs allow for a cost-effective power supply for rack devices.
