APC Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) enable comprehensive control of power supply to systems and active monitoring. The remote-controlled outputs allow for powering on and off for reboot processes and prevent unauthorized use of individual outputs. Adjustable delays enable a user-defined sequence for powering on and off connected systems. Additionally, circuit overloads can be managed by selectively shutting down consumers, and the operational duration of critical systems can be extended through prioritization in load distribution. Real-time remote monitoring of connected loads is made possible through power measurements. Switched Rack PDUs allow for real-time power monitoring and feature a port for temperature and humidity sensors as well as lockable IEC outputs. User-definable alarms alert to potential circuit overloads before critical IT systems experience failures. Access to, as well as configuration and control of, Switched Rack PDUs is possible via secure web, SNMP, or Telnet interfaces. These are complemented by APC Centralized Management platforms, which utilize InfraStruxure Central, Capacity Manager, and Change Manager.
