With the Anybus Wireless Bolt, you can connect the control of your machine to a wireless network. The Wireless Bolt is mounted directly on the machine or in the control cabinet and allows machine access via Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, or WLAN (WiFi). The Anybus Wireless Bolt is connected to the machine control via Ethernet cable and supports not only Industrial Ethernet protocols like BACnet/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus-TCP, but also TCP/IP and UDP protocols.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt enables you to configure or operate your machine wirelessly. For example, you can access the web pages of your control system using a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The range of the wireless connection is up to 100 meters. With the Wireless Bolt, you can implement the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept and avoid expensive, permanently installed HMIs.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt provides a complete package that combines connection, communication processor, and integrated antenna in one unit.
