With the Anybus Wireless Bolt, you can connect the control of your machine to a wireless network. The Wireless Bolt is mounted directly on the machine or in the control cabinet and enables machine access via Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, or WLAN (WiFi). The Anybus Wireless Bolt is connected to the machine control via Ethernet cable and supports not only Industrial Ethernet protocols such as BACnet/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, and Modbus-TCP but also TCP/IP and UDP protocols.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt allows you to configure or operate your machine wirelessly. For example, you can access the web pages of your control system via a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The range of the wireless connection is up to 100 meters. With the Wireless Bolt, you can implement the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept and eliminate the need for expensive, permanently installed HMIs.
The Anybus Wireless Bolt provides a complete package that combines connection, communication processor, and integrated antenna in one unit.
