Master Simulator Profinet Basic for Profinet I/O

The Profinet Master Simulator is a simple testing tool for commissioning and testing Profinet devices. The Profinet Master Simulator (IO Controller) can exchange I/O data with a Profinet Slave (IO Device). It can process GSD files and also supports the input of special configurations to initiate data exchange with Profinet Slaves. The Profinet Master Simulator is available in both Basic and Plus versions.

Name and Address Assignment

The Profinet Master Simulator recognizes Profinet Slaves. You can assign station names and/or IP addresses to the Profinet Slaves using this tool.

Display of I/O Data in 4 Formats

I/O data is displayed in hexadecimal, binary, ASCII characters, and decimal. In tip mode, outputs remain set as long as the mouse button is pressed.

Alternative to PLC and PC Card for Testing and Commissioning

Advantages: User-friendly testing tool for the commissioning of Profinet Slaves (IO Devices), testing of input and output data - reading/writing cyclic I/O data, easy selection of Profinet Slaves from the list of detected devices, selection of desired data modules based on the Slave GSD file, consistent I/O data transmission, available in Basic or Plus version.
