Thanks to their good cycle stability, the NiMH cells can be recharged up to 1000 times. The batteries can be charged with a high current, allowing for very short charging times. They are usable at temperatures ranging from -20 to +50 °C. Since NiMH batteries can be used wherever disposable batteries are utilized, they not only benefit the environment but also save money. The self-discharge rate is ten times lower than that of standard NiMH batteries. After one year, about 80% of the initial capacity is still available. This is made possible by a special separator that drastically reduces unwanted internal current flow. The batteries are delivered pre-charged and are therefore ready for immediate use.
