With its two charging slots, you can independently charge 1-2 Li-Ion batteries of sizes 26650, 22650, 18650, 18500, 17670, 16340, 14500, and others, or 1-2 NiMH Mignon AA / Micro AAA batteries. The device automatically recognizes the inserted battery without any annoying adjustments. The charging process begins immediately after you have inserted the cell correctly.

To ensure that your battery can still deliver optimal performance even after many charging cycles, it is important that it is always charged gently and safely. The ANSMANN Lithium 2 charger features high-quality, microcontroller-controlled charging technology that protects the battery in various ways from rapid wear. This includes automatic shutdown of the charging process as soon as the cell is fully charged, as well as gentle maintenance charging for NiMH cells after the actual charging process. Lithium cells, in particular, require careful handling due to their high energy density. The special electronics in the ANSMANN Lithium 2 charger guarantee safety at the highest level.

For easy and quick reading of your batteries' charge status, a colored LED display is integrated above each slot. This also indicates incorrectly inserted batteries. The ANSMANN Lithium 2 charger can be operated with any standard 5V 1A USB adapter. For optimal charging, ANSMANN recommends the 2.4A USB High Speed charger with Smart IC, which can almost halve the charging time of the cells.
