Product details

Tape recorders or the parts in these devices that come into contact with the tape become magnetized over time due to their construction. Magnetized tape heads and tape-contacting parts are the main cause of deterioration in playback quality. This professional demagnetizer removes the magnetism from tape heads and all tape-guiding parts in cassette recorders and reel-to-reel tape machines. The demagnetizer should be used after approximately 20 hours of playback time.
