U/FTP Cat.6A Alantec cables are manufactured, tested, and verified to the ISO/IEC 11801 2nd Edition, EN 50173:2007, and ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2 standards for enhanced performance. All parameters have been verified by Intertek.

Each cable consists of 8 color-coded polyethylene insulated conductors, twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. These pairs, along with a strong nylon rip cord, are jacketed in a heat-resistant LSOH. The printing detail on the sheath includes the cable's part number, specification details, and a unique 500-meter marking on each roll supplied, allowing for quick and easy measurement of installed cable and the amount remaining on a roll. A choice of jacket color enables departmental or application identification where necessary.

Cables have a positive transmission performance of up to 550 MHz. We support Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology.
