AKG WMS420 Instrumental Set 826-831 MHz

The WMS420 instrumental set is a powerful and versatile wireless system for numerous applications. The set includes the receiver SR420, a pocket transmitter PT420, and a 1/4-inch connection cable. The user-friendly operation of the WMS420 allows for quick configuration and setup of the wireless system.

Instruments such as guitar, bass, or keyboard can be connected to the pocket transmitter via the 1/4-inch connection cable. A wide selection of AKG microphones is available for the mini-XLR connection on the pocket transmitter. Depending on the requirements, the set can be combined with headset and lavalier microphones or goosenecks and boundary microphones from the installation sector.

The diversity receiver SR420 ensures a secure reception of the audio signal. Two detachable antennas on the back of the receiver provide maximum flexibility and allow for the use of optional antenna accessories. The reception quality of the two antennas is constantly compared using advanced algorithms, and only the strongest received wireless signal is used. This guarantees optimal RF stability without disruptive dropouts.

The pocket transmitter PT420 is particularly small and lightweight. With just one AA battery or NiMH rechargeable battery, the wireless transmission lasts up to 8 hours. The input level of the connected microphone can be adjusted directly on the pocket transmitter. Integrated charging contacts allow for direct charging of the transmitter in the optional CU400 charging station, which can conveniently charge and securely store up to two transmitters.

Both the receiver SR420 and the pocket transmitter PT420 operate within a switching bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. Up to 8 channels can be operated simultaneously in the UHF range. The system is also available in license-free and fee-free frequency ranges.
