Product details
The C1000 S is the revised version of the established predecessor model C 1000 S MK-III, which was already highly regarded for its versatility and reliability. Whether in the studio, for reports, or for live recordings - the C1000 S always delivers excellent results.
A low-cut switch attenuates signals below 80 Hz, preventing unwanted disturbances from footfall or wind noise. Loud instruments such as drums and brass in an orchestra can also be perfectly captured using the -10 dB pad switch.
If phantom power is not available, the C1000 S can operate for up to 120 hours with two cost-effective AA batteries. A control LED indicates the battery status and warns one hour before the batteries are depleted.
By attaching the included polar pattern converter, the directional characteristic of the C1000 S can easily be changed from cardioid to hypercardioid. The also included presence boost adapter raises high frequencies between 5 and 9 kHz by 3 to 5 dB, enhancing speech intelligibility and providing a more precise instrumental sound.
The C1000 S is delivered with a stand adapter, windscreen, and carrying case.
Up to 120 hours of operation with two standard AA batteries, gold-coated diaphragm and gold-plated XLR connector, adjustable polar patterns via adapter, solid metal housing, control LED, switchable low cut filters, and a 10 dB attenuation.
