The low-profile cooler, with a total height of just 31 millimeters, is suitable for all ultra-compact HTPCs and mini-systems. The AK-CC6308EP01 from Akasa features a slim 92 mm fan that is mounted directly on the processor. Unlike many other CPU coolers that use a fan oriented orthogonally, this fan blows directly onto the heatsink and the processor.

The quiet AK-CC6308EP01 utilizes a multidirectional heatsink and double-branch aluminum fins, both of which contribute to efficient cooling of the CPU and motherboard. The PWM fan is automatically regulated by the CPU, meaning that under low load, the fan also slows down automatically, generating no unnecessary noise. The cooler is compatible with Intel sockets 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, and 1200.
