Product details
The quiet aluminum AK-959CU features a multi-directional heatsink with a copper core, whose fins are split to further increase the surface area and thus the cooling performance. Additionally, the AK-959CU uses a PWM fan that is controlled by the motherboard based on the processor load. Under normal operating conditions, the fan can run at a low speed, resulting in an extremely low operating noise. Higher cooling performance is also available when needed. The cooler is equipped with push-pins to ensure a secure and quick attachment to socket 775 and socket 1156. High-quality thermal paste is already applied to the underside, keeping everything nice and clean. The AK-959CU is designed for processors with a TDP of up to 115 W. Higher cooling performance can be achieved through increased airflow in the case.
