AeroCool Qs-182
mATX, Mini-ITXProduct details
Aerocool's Qs-182 is a chic micro ATX package that convinces with its matt surface and discreet design. With approx. 33.5 cm in height and length, it is also a rather small case, which accordingly weighs only 2.7 kg and, in combination with the chic design, also looks good in a living room.
The small mini tower is made of 0.5 mm thick SECC steel and has a plastic finish on the front and lid. The front panel accommodates a drive bezel behind which a 5.25-inch slot is hidden, as well as another one for a floppy drive. In addition, there are also I/O panels with USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two audio sockets as well as a power and a reset switch.
In the completely black interior of the Qs-182 there is room for motherboards in Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX format as well as some other components. For example, a 3.5-inch and a 2.5-inch drive can also be installed as standard in the Qs-182.
The 3.5-inch drive can also be an external one, since the slot is located behind an aperture that can be removed. In addition, either two additional 2.5-inch drives or a 2.5-inch and a 3.5-inch drive can be installed on the fold-out small side panel.
If you are not using a 5.25-inch drive, you can also install a 3.5-inch drive instead. Rubber pads are included in the case to ensure that the drives generate little or no vibration.
The housing can accommodate four expansion cards. These may have a maximum length of 320 mm. After all, a CPU cooler may have a height of 145 mm. Of course there is also a cutout for mounting and maintenance of the CPU cooler in the side wall. A standard ATX power supply can be installed at the rear top of the housing. Below this is a removable dust filter.
The case comes with a pre-installed 80mm fan in the back. For this purpose, a 120 mm fan can be installed in the side panel and in the front. For optimal cable management, holes are made in the mainboard wall.
