The 10G Ethernet media converter AC4455 offers a flexible high-performance solution for a quick and easy transition from Gigabit Ethernet over fiber to Gigabit Ethernet over copper (RJ45) and vice versa. The unmanaged media converter features an open SFP+ slot for an unencoded single-mode or multi-mode SFP+ transceiver. Additionally, the Ethernet media converter includes Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) for connection error detection. Various operating modes can be set using the built-in dip switches.
