ACS ACR1281 Contactless Reader

The ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader is a contactless card reader that automatically and efficiently retrieves the Unique Identifier (UID) number of any ISO 14443 Part 1-4 Type A and B compliant contactless card.

When a contactless card (e.g., a MIFARE card) is presented, the ACR1281U-C2 retrieves the UID of the card and automatically returns it to the PC. The reader allows for direct output of the UID into any editor, such as Notepad, MS Excel, MS Word, etc. With the UID, cardholders can be accurately identified in various applications such as identity verification, time tracking, and access control. The ACR1281U-C2 also features an anti-collision function that ensures only one card is accessed when multiple cards are presented simultaneously.

Since the ACR1281U-C2 Card UID Reader is compliant with the HID (Human Interface Device) standard, issues related to driver installation during integration into PC environments are minimized. It supports most operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and other embedded systems.
