The universal interface has 4 channels. These can be configured as inputs or outputs using the ETS. Conventional buttons, auxiliary contacts, LEDs, and the electronic relay ER/U 1.1 can be connected to the terminal wires. These can be extended up to 10 meters. The contact query voltage and the supply voltage for the LEDs are provided by the device, and the current limiting resistors for the LEDs are integrated.
