As an interface, interface relays connect the electronic control level, for example, PLC, with the level of the sensors/actuators. They take over various functions: Switching of DC or AC loads with different ohmic, inductive, as well as capacitive components, switching in the voltage range from a few mV to 250 V, switching in the current range from a few mA to 12 A, amplification of weak control signals, potential separation of control and load circuits, as well as signal multiplication. The CR-M series has 13 different coil voltages with 2-4 change-over contacts. A built-in test button for manual operation and interlocking of the output contacts, as well as relay variants with or without built-in LED can be selected. Two base variants are offered: Standard socket and logical socket. Pluggable function modules such as reverse polarity protection, free-wheeling diode, RC elements, or overvoltage protection extend the areas of application of the pluggable miniature relays.
