They are supplied with permanently mounted, color-coded auxiliary contact blocks on the front, making them ideal for monitoring and controlling power circuits with motors, lightly inductive, or non-inductive loads. The integrated auxiliary contacts are forcibly guided and designed as mirror contacts according to IEC 60947-5-1 Annex L. Additionally, they feature built-in surge protection and do not require additional extinguishing components. Minimum switching capacity of the auxiliary contacts is 12 V / 3 mA, with a failure rate of 10-7 according to IEC 60947-5-4. AFS relays with the coil code -11 are not suitable for control by a 24 V DC PLC output.
