The Cube 2G 3D printer offers an easy entry into three-dimensional printing without becoming a toy. The Cube can print objects up to 14 cm x 14 cm x 14 cm (the Cube itself measures only 26 cm x 26 cm x 34 cm) with an accuracy of up to 0.25 mm (250 microns) - using either PLA or ABS plastic. The PLA or ABS filament is contained in a cartridge, making operation even simpler. The Cube 2G can receive print jobs via Wi-Fi, for example, using the free Cubify Draw app from the App Store. With the Cubify Draw app, it is possible to draw directly with your fingers and create a 3D model from the drawing, which can then be sent to your Cube via Wi-Fi - the Cube will then print the 3D object. Of course, the Cube software also works on Windows (from Windows XP Service Pack 3) and Mac OS X (from 10.8).
