Product details

The PROFILL Filament Metal PLA in brass appearance is an innovative 3D printing material that is filled with approximately 70% gravimetric brass powder. This filament offers the ability to create objects with realistic metal properties that impress both in feel and weight. With a weight that is three times higher than that of conventional PLA, it enables impressive thermal conductivity and excellent print quality. The filament is designed to be easy to print and polish, making it ideal for creative projects. Thanks to its special composition, the Metal ProFill™ exhibits almost no warping properties, simplifying the printing process. It can be used with most common FDM printers that have a nozzle opening of at least 0.35 mm. To extend the lifespan of the nozzles, the use of hardened nozzles is recommended, as the filament is more abrasive than standard PLA. The printing temperature ranges from 195 to 220 °C, and it can be printed without a heated print bed, although a temperature of 35 °C to 60 °C is recommended if a heated bed is available.

  • High metal content for realistic properties
  • Low warping properties allow printing without a heated bed
  • Easy to print and polish
  • Increased thermal conductivity
  • Recommended use of hardened nozzles due to abrasiveness.
