Product details

The Metal ProFill copper 1.75mm filament is an innovative 3D printing material filled with 80% gravimetric copper sand. This filament combines the advantages of PLA with the unique properties of metal, making it ideal for creating objects with a realistic metallic look and feel. It is easy to print and allows for excellent post-processing, as it can be easily polished. With a weight that is three times that of conventional PLA, it offers improved thermal conductivity and minimizes warping, facilitating the printing process. The filament can be used with most common FDM printers and does not require special print beds, although a heated bed temperature of 35° to 60°C is recommended for the best results. Due to its abrasive properties, the use of hardened nozzles is recommended to minimize wear.

  • 80% gravimetric copper sand for realistic metallic properties
  • Improved thermal conductivity
  • Minimal warping properties allow printing without a heated bed
  • Easy printing and polishing for high-quality surfaces
  • Recommended use with hardened nozzles to reduce wear.
