Hello Comminity I am thinking of buying the z6 or di z50. The following questions arise: 1) Video function with DX lenses on the Z6. I have two DX lenses that I really enjoy using. Tokina 12-24 AT-X PRO F4 DX and 35mm nikor 1.8 (the classic). The lenses should be usable. What about video with the Z6. It is cropped. Does that mean that the function is limited? For example: restrictions at 4k? Or is the refresh rate limited at 1080p (less than 120fps)? 2) Viewfinder size z6 vs z50: With my d7500, a major purchase decision was that when you look through the viewfinder the image is visible larger than with the 5000 series for example. Is the viewfinder on the z6 larger than on the z50? 3) Difference in focal length between Z cameras and DSLRs When I use the 35mm Nikor 1.8 with adapter on a Z Mirrorless camera, the Field of View is the same as on my D7500 DSLR. 4) Would you recommend z50 or z6 for video? Thank you and best regards
3) There is no difference. Why should there be? There is a cropfactor on the APS-C sensor of the Z50. But that has nothing to do with DSLR or DSLM, only with the sensor size. The Z6 is a full-frame camera. DX lenses hardly make sense on it, even if you can mount them. You still have 10MP. The rest is more or less dark.
4) The Z50 has no stabilised sensor. I would generally not buy such a camera again.
