If you already have the balance bike this extension is defenetly a good investment. Took my son literaly 1 minute to learn how to ride. Although he is 4yo and a bigger bike would fit him better, this is perfect to learn before transitioning to a more conventional pedal bike. Leg&go bike is so light-weighted and they are just so used to ride it as a balance bike that then is just so easy for kids to learn how to pedal.
