A good buy in the under 200chf range.
So, I bought this phone for a low price smartphone and was positively impressed. I got what I expected and a bit more but I will now mention some negative aspects I wish I knew.
- The screen while it looks beautiful seems to be unending and I find myself pressing stuff without wanting to, maybe I will get used to it.
- The speaker is nothing to write home about but then again if you need to listen to music from a phone speaker go have that checked out. The only downside is that it is placed where I usually hold my phone meaning that I muffle it constantly.
- The samsung UI has this Bixby home in the home screen (swiping left) and I cannot intuitively swap this with google now which is just a shame.
- The fingerprint is sometimes slow to respond.
- The phone is slippery so get a case fast!
- These alarm sounds sound like they come from the pits of hell and are sure to wake you up swearing.
These are all the small problems I found. The positives which I don't mention are all the things that you see for the phone all around. All in all I suggest this phone for anyone that looks for one under 200chf and wants a slick appearance with small size and reasonable performance on all fronts.
