Actually really great, I was thrilled by the many compartments, the ergonomics, and the price-performance ratio (bought in a sale). Unfortunately, the backpack already had ugly stains on the inside when it was delivered, which I could still live with. But after three weeks already torn fabric underneath seams?! When I registered for the warranty, the thing was now automatically credited at the clearance price, and so now of course I won't get a new one. What a pity.
Addendum: when I was clearing out my belongings, the zipper on one of the outer compartments also gave up the ghost. I've never had so many defects in a single item.

I am thrilled with this backpack. My problem was that I always had to take a notebook bag to university in addition to a normal backpack. Now I have a backpack that carries my Asus Zenbook and other books and cases etc. inone. The backpack is also well padded at the bottom, so you can put it on the floor without worrying. A nice side feature is the possibility to transport high-quality headphones gently.

The Dicota Backpack really excited me at first because it seems to have a lot of space, definitely, lots of pockets inside to store everything and looks very chic. After a few days of everyday use, I realised that it's notthat practical. When the pack is filled with groceries, you can forget about trying to get out the nicely stored things in the pockets. They are printed on the wall and you have to empty everything out to get to them, especially the ones in the deep pockets at the bottom of the pack. I only give this part 2 stars.
I am a musician and find the separate PC part in the back great for carrying my sheet music though. They don't get bent or otherwise damaged with the other stuff, they stay nice and flat. This is worth 5 stars.
Addendum: A year later, this backpack is my daily companion. The shoulder straps are wide and nicely padded, making it comfortable to carry when the backpack is full.
