Wanted: Aero ace with Shakespearean skills

I was surrounded by a sea of cardboard, test products and rubbish. Our offices no longer looked very nice. My whip-wielding boss had had it up to here. So we were ordered to do a deep clean. And there’s something in it for you!

We write reviews. Many reviews. And we often order devices from our very own warehouse. We then test them and return them to Wohlen. Our colleagues in Wohlen refurbish and resell them at a somewhat reduced price. So no matter how you look at it, reviews are always beneficial for you.

We also receive quite a lot of hardware from manufacturers directly. Many of them have realised that sending their products to digitec.ch can be a cheap way of getting lots of attention. For this reason, we have to reject many a test opportunity. Our philosophy is to only talk about products we think you’ll be interested in. Ok, ok. I must admit that we occasionally only talk about things if we enjoy them ourselves.

In July 2017, my workmate Philipp Rüegg asked a pilot to test a deluxe flight simulator for him:

What a pilot thought of our luxury flight simulator

    by Philipp Rüegg

Phil elegantly removed the cardboard boxes from his sight. These kinds of products are sent to us by the manufacturer, they are not resold later on. In this particular case, the manufacturer didn’t want them back, either. Tobias Billeter, our Head of Corporate Communications, sits in close proximity to the pile of boxes. «Aurel, where does this stuff belong?» he asked me during our cleaning session. How the devil should I know! I ask Phil and he tells me to ask Roy. Roy tells me that Chris is in charge.

At this point, I’ve had enough. I decide to raffle off the stuff. And you can win it.

The total value: 1163.10 francs!

But before we proceed to the prize draw, we need to create a win-win situation. So far, it’s only been a win for you. Not for us. But I’m sure you know that nothing in life is free. So if you wish to enter the prize draw, you must send us a self-written poem. Maybe look to Barry Manilow or Céline Dion for inspiration.

Send us your poem until 20.10. for a chance to win. Fingers crossed!

To simulate a flight, we demand you write!

The competition has ended.
