Story from the advent calendar - part 2

    by Ramon Schneider

How does the story work?

My aim is to tell you another part of the story every Monday in December. As I don't know in advance what's inside the individual doors of the Advent calendar, I can't predict which direction the story will take. So it's not certain for you, or for me, how the story will end.

What has happened so far

The bounty hunter Boba Fett is on the hunt for the murderer of his father, the Jedi Master Mace Windu. The trail leads him to the cloud city above Bespin and directly into mortal danger! The situation escalates into a major battle against the Empire, in which the rebels rush to his aid.

Day 12

On the ground, the rebels were able to win the battle and put the Snowtroopers to flight. In the air, however, the relentless battle continues. Several unmanned droid gunships have appeared as reinforcements for the Empire, lighting up the darkness of the universe with coloured laser flashes.

Day 13

Boba Fett is still on the ground, blasting the heads off the remaining battle droids with his blaster. This is more like a vermin extermination than a fight. He wants to get into the air where he's needed. Not down here.

Day 14

The newly developed Delta-7B starfighters were used to fight the droids in the air. In addition to the pilot, an astromech droid is also on board, which has the advantage that the fighter can also fly unmanned. As a result, a starfighter could be sent to Boba Fett so that he can also prove himself in the air.

Day 15

Tantive IV

After several dozen starfighters destroyed the droid gunships, Boba Fett was taken to the Tantive IV. The Tantive IV is a CR90-class corvette and is also known as the "blockade runner". The manoeuvrability of the ship allows it to submerge quickly.

Day 16

silvery protocol droid

On the ship, Boba Fett met a silvery protocol droid who already knew his father. The droid couldn't tell Boba who his father's killer was, but he knew someone who knew more about his father's death and that person lived on the planet Tatooine.

Day 17

Since the ship is flying in a different direction and Boba absolutely has to get to Tatooine, he wants to separate from the ship via an escape pod. But since these pods don't have enough energy for long flight times, Boba Fett grabs a GNK energy droid. These droids are actually nothing more than walking batteries. With it, he should have enough energy to get to Tatooine.

Day 18

Boba Fett is in his escape pod on the approach to Tatooine. He can see Jabba's house in the distance. Jabba Desilijic Tiure is the leader of a criminal organisation and must have heard something about his father's death. But Jabba is cunning. He only ever reveals information in exchange for favours.
