Start-ups: A game for bullshitters

Convince the other players of your absurd business ideas and get the support of the investors. Pitch creatively and invent arbitrary statistics. It doesn't matter. The main thing is to win.
In this game, luck and skill have no influence. All that counts here is your mouth. One player at a time is a multimillion-dollar investor who is on the lookout for attractive start-ups. The remaining players try to convince him of their business idea by any means necessary.

How to play Start-ups
The game principle is simple and quickly explained. At the start, the "entrepreneurs" draw two company name cards, two industry cards and two target group cards. They choose one from each of these. This results in their start-up. At least the basic foundation. The rest you have to pull out of your hair and invent. As creatively and imaginatively as possible.

After the pitch, the "investor" draws two trend cards and selects one of them. This results in a question for the entrepreneur. For example, whether they are incorporating the renewable energy trend into their start-up. The entrepreneur then has to find a way to integrate this trend into their company.
Once all the entrepreneurs have presented their business models, the investor decides in favour of one start-up. This wins the round. In the next round, you switch roles and another player takes on the function of the investor. Depending on how long you want to play, you can set the number of rounds at the start. The player who wins the most pitches wins the game.
Is this game for you
"Start-ups" stands or falls on the other players. If you have a group of friends who can talk off the cuff, you'll definitely enjoy it. However, if you are more of a quiet church mouse, "Start-ups" is not for you. However, it is best played after a few beers or glasses of wine. Only for the adults among you, of course.
