Maybelline New York Sky High Lash Sensational
Burgundy Haze
After black came brown and now burgundy red. Which is why the unusual shade from Maybelline's Sky High range is causing a real stir. At least for others.
Remember the Sky High mascara from Maybelline? The one that everyone was so keen on, I mean. The mascara also convinced me. The brand recently launched three new colours. A smart move. Those who already love the black version will probably be willing to give other colours under the Sky High banner a chance. Maybelline has opted for pink, royal blue - and burgundy red. A rather atypical colour for a mainstream brand. Perhaps that's why it struck a chord on social media and is recommended up and down. It's no wonder that the "Burgundy Haze" colour is always on sale.

Burgundy Haze
Not so long ago, I gave you the tip here on Galaxus to go for brown ink instead of black. This has a softer effect.
"Burgundy Haze" is a burgundy-coloured mascara that looks brownish-purple depending on the light. This makes it look as soft as brown and, according to colour theory, is supposed to bring out the best in green and blue eyes. So much for the theory.
When applied, however, you can hardly see the difference to the black ink. You have to look very closely and hope for the right lighting conditions if you want to recognise anything. This also limits the effect, which is supposed to make my blue eyes shine. Or what do you think? But the look is definitely softer.
Do you already own a black mascara and just want an extra shade to experiment with? In this case, you can do without "Burgundy Haze", you don't need both. The colour discrepancy is too small for that. Go for "Blue Mist" or "Pink Air" instead. You need a new mascara anyway, have blue or green eyes and are going for a softer look? Then you might as well buy "Burgundy Haze" instead of black or brown and give the mascara a try. In any case, you're not taking any risks.
As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
