Out of battery? Start the engine without getting out of your car

created on 19.9.2017

Would you like to restart your engine in just a few steps without getting out of your car? It can be done. And very easy too. With the Car-Starter from Swaytronic.

You're already late in the morning, quickly brushing your teeth to at least have done something. A glimmer of hope that you won't be too late: come on, come on, you exceptionally take the car instead of public transport, because you haven't got time! Key in the ignition, you turn right and nothing. You try again, still nothing, nada, fif, que dal. If you're lucky, the starter motor still makes a bit of noise and a few lights still give you a little sign of life. The battery is empty. The nice neighbours aren't at home as a rule and now, at the latest, you have to call the office and say you'll be late. I'm sure you've been in this situation before (I have). When there's a problem, at least there's a solution.

Now, you have several solutions available to get your car restarted. Provided your battery isn't totally dead, but "only" empty.

1st option: jumper

This option is familiar to almost everyone: bridging with jumper cables:

Initial situation:

  • a car with a flat battery
  • a car with a full battery
  • a volunteer

How do I do this? Thanks ACS!

If you can't find a volunteer with a full battery, Swaytronic's "All in One Jump Starter" has been THE solution until now. However, using this gadget required some handling and forced you to get out of the car. Now, everything is much more comfortable with the new "Car Starter" model.

The new facilitated version of Swaytronic:

Initial situation:

  • A car with an empty battery
  • a Swaytronic "Car-Starter"

Now, with the help of the Swaytronic "Car-Starter" and the cigarette lighter, you can comfortably recharge your battery without getting out of the car. All at a current of 10A. The bonnet stays closed and your nerves are spared.

And here's how to do it:

First, you turn the ignition to "ACC", then connect the device with the 12V connector. Switch off all functions such as the radio, air conditioning, etc. Then press button 2 (front) on the Car Starter and wait 5 to 10 minutes.

The "Car Starter" can generally be used with every 12V battery intact - even with negative temperatures of -20°C. What's more, the device has an LED light with a pre-programmed SOS signal and also allows you to charge your smartphone and tablet.

The "Car Starter" can usually be used with every 12V battery intact - even in sub-zero temperatures.

All that's left is for me to wish you a safe journey!
