NVIDIA RTX Spark for AI, creativity, and gaming
A laptop for local AI, creative projects, and modern games: This is the goal of NVIDIA RTX Spark. We show what is behind the new platform and where its advantages lie in everyday life.

RTX Spark is a new platform for Windows 11 laptops. Inside, an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU, an NVIDIA Grace CPU, and up to 128 GB of shared memory work together. That sounds like a spec sheet at first. What you can do with it is more interesting: run AI applications locally, edit videos or 3D scenes, and then play games on the same laptop.
When AI runs on the laptop
Personal AI agents are intended to do more than a classic chatbot: create content, consolidate information, write code, or support multiple work steps. RTX Spark is designed to run such applications directly on the laptop. When an application works locally, files and work contexts can remain on your own device instead of being transferred to the cloud for every step.
NVIDIA specifies up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128 GB of unified memory for RTX Spark. The number alone is of little help in everyday life. The decisive factor is the shared memory pool that the processor, graphics, and AI accelerator access. It creates space for larger models, project files, and multiple applications simultaneously. Those who develop AI applications themselves can also use the NVIDIA CUDA software stack on the same laptop.
Edit videos instead of watching progress bars
When editing videos, in 3D applications, or while streaming, it is not just peak performance that counts. It is important that previews run smoothly and effects do not constantly interrupt the workflow. For this, RTX Spark combines AI acceleration, RT cores, and a current generation of encoders and decoders. NVIDIA Broadcast can also improve image and sound during video calls or streams.
The shared memory also helps here. Creative apps, AI models, and high-resolution material share the same large memory pool. This allows you to complete more steps of a project on one laptop. NVIDIA also mentions more than 1,000 RTX-accelerated apps and games. Which functions are available depends on the respective application.
Gaming after work
RTX Spark supports the full RTX platform. Ray tracing calculates realistic lighting and reflections. NVIDIA DLSS uses AI to improve image quality and frame rate. NVIDIA Reflex is intended to reduce the delay between input and image output—especially relevant in fast-paced games.
This means an RTX Spark laptop covers very different tasks: AI or creative work during the day, gaming in the evening. NVIDIA also highlights the slim, energy-efficient design and battery life designed for long mobile use. However, how long a specific device lasts depends on the laptop model and what you do with it.
